WRC Portugal - 4th place for the VW Polo Crew

This weekend Sports Racing Technologies crew Nikolay Gryazin and Konstantin Aleksandrov took part in WRC VODAFONE RALLY DE PORTUGAL!

Even before the start of the event our team and our crew knew this would be a tricky and very interesting Rally. The roads in Portugal are twisty, complex, and you have to get your tire strategy just right. Gryazin also took part in WRC Portugal in 2019. 

Rally started out great - stage win in ss1, another stage win in ss4 and also ss6. Gryazin finished the 1st day in 2nd place and was happy with his result. 

The second day brought some turbo issues that led to a little power loss, but in no time the problem was fixed during service and overall on the 2nd day the crew took 3 stage wins. 

Last day was the hardest - Gryazin struggled with tier snapping and some engine problems, but never the less he took 4th place overall. 

Short comment from the driver: 'We finished 4th, bad luck, but the pace was there'.
