Rally Alūksne - great start of the year for our team!

This Saturday during Alūksnes Rally we got to know who are the fastest drivers in the begging of this year - in other words - who has the best new wheels and has had the most training during this gorgeous winter! As it turns out the fastest driver was our very good friend Oliver Solberg who is driving with his brand new VW Polo R5. Now he really is a force to be reckoned with because the big guns are out! By winning this rally Oliver left previous LRČ champion Valery Gorban from Ukraine in the second place. This was a first ever overall win for Oliver Solberg! 

However, our team had 2 crews this time that also showed amazing results that led our team to receive the Fastest Team title! 

Adam Westlund with R2 has shown amazing growth - Adam has been a part of SRT team for the last year and the speed we saw during Alūksne was great! Adam took 3rd place in LRC3 class. 

A very new addition to our team is the Polish rally champion Lukasz Habaj! Habaj with R5 took 3rd place overall - showing great speed and stability! 

This was a great first rally of the year for SRT and these drivers! We will see more winter rally action very soon in Rally Sarma! So stay tooned and don't get snowed in!
