ERC Rally Di Roma Capitale..When in Roma do as the Italians do

When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie...that's Amore!! Ou wait, no, not pizza - Rally di Roma Capitale!!

Last weekend our team went to Italy with the Polish crew Miko Marczyk and Szymon Gospodarczyk (Škoda Fabia Evo Rally2) and our Russian crew Nikolay Gryazin and Konstantin Alexandrov (VW Polo GTI R5). 

What an exciting and difficult rally it was - so many good drivers, so many good Italian drivers - the competition was top level. 

A rocky start to our VW Polo crew - puncture on SS1. This gave the whole rally an unfortunate undertone, but never the less the crew and the team worked a lot with the car and tried out many different setup options. In the end, managed to show good speed and tickled the nerves of other drivers. 

Our Polish crew however played it very safe and were focused, didn't risk it and had a very good rally and showed good speed this whole weekend. They finished 5th overall and won 2nd place in the Michelin cup! 

All in all, it was a great weekend for the team and after a little rest, we will be back for WRC Belgium and ERC Barum!
